Highest level of protection. This unique window protection system combines the toughness of 3M™ Ultra Safety and Security Films with an adhesive or profile attachment system. Choose either 3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive or 3M™ Impact Protection Profile depending upon your frame and overall aesthetic needs. This combination system attaches the filmed window to the window frame, creating a robust shield that significantly outperforms window film-only systems. It’s extra assurance against impact energy from severe weather, earthquakes and forced entry events—with enough strength to handle even bomb blasts. This film holds the glass together in a way that can protect you from shrapnel, objects flung towards your windows, and debris that would otherwise litter the floor.

What is Safety/Security Window Film?

Clear polyester film with an optically clear adhesive that is attached to the glass to hold the shards together when hit by an object or a pressure wave.
- The 3M Ultra Safety & Security Film has a unique construction with up to 42 layers in a 150 micron thick construction allowing for stretch and flexibility to absorb the pressure of the glass during the event.
